Overview

Burp Rating ("the App") is an entertainment application. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data We Collect

The App collects minimal data:

Audio recordings: Burp recordings are processed entirely on your device. Audio data is never uploaded to any server.
Device Identifier (IDFA): Used by our advertising partner (Google AdMob) to deliver relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized ads through your device settings.
Usage data: Basic app analytics may be collected through Apple's built-in analytics.

Audio Processing

All audio analysis happens locally on your device. Your burp recordings are stored only on your device in the app's local storage. We do not transmit, store, or have access to any audio recordings. We do not sell your burps. That would be weird.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

Google AdMob: Displays advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and advertising data for ad personalization. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Apple App Store: Handles in-app purchases and app distribution.

Data Storage

All app data (burp history, scores, settings, streaks) is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. No personal data is stored on external servers.

In-App Purchases

In-app purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all app data at any time by:

Using the "Clear History" option in Settings
Deleting the app from your device

Ad Tracking

The App uses Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. You will be asked for permission before any tracking occurs. You can change your tracking preferences at any time in your device's Settings under Privacy > Tracking.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
